Hygge Kinder House is more than just a childcare center — it’s a warm and welcoming home away from home.

Inspired by the Danish concept of “hygge” — a feeling of coziness, comfort, and belonging — we provide an environment where children feel safe, engaged, and inspired to explore.

At Hygge Kinder House, we strive to create a cozy home-away-from-home, where children feel safe, seen, and supported as they play, grow, and discover the world around them.

Philosophy

Hygge Kinder House, in downtown Boise, provides high-quality childcare with a focus on empowering little ones to explore their natural environment and become kind urban citizens.

Everyone is welcome here

Our space embraces all backgrounds, identities, and experiences, ensuring that every child, family, and staff member feels seen, safe, and valued.

We can help each other flourish

We believe that being human—all the beautiful, messy, and complex parts of it—is best navigated together, because when we genuinely support each other through life's challenges and joys, we all rise and flourish in ways we never could alone.
